01. Who we are and what this covers

Drinkuu is an adult multiplayer party game developed and operated by If Antonov (“we”, “us”, or “our”), the controller responsible for the personal information described in this policy.

This policy covers the Drinkuu mobile app on Android and iOS, the Drinkuu website at drinkuu.com, and privacy or support communications with us. Features may differ by platform. In the current app, purchases are supported through Google Play on Android; this policy does not imply that iOS purchases are available.

02. Information we process

Motion controls

Some minigames use your phone’s accelerometer or gyroscope to control movement or balance. Raw sensor readings are used on your device; the game sends resulting answers, scores, or performance results to the multiplayer service rather than a stream of raw motion readings.

Information you do not need to provide

You do not need to provide your real name to play. Use a nickname and avoid putting sensitive information in your display name. The game does not request access to your contacts, camera, microphone, photo library, or precise GPS location. Built-in avatars do not require a photo upload. Google Play handles payment details; we do not receive your full payment-card number.

03. How we use information

We use information to provide multiplayer rooms and minigames; authenticate guests and registered users; maintain profiles; verify and restore purchases; serve and measure ads; secure and troubleshoot the service; answer support and privacy requests; and meet applicable legal obligations.

Where European Economic Area or UK data-protection law applies, our legal bases are:

• Performance of a contract: providing the game features, optional account, and purchases you request.
• Legitimate interests: maintaining service security and reliability, preventing abuse and purchase fraud, and handling support, balanced against your rights.
• Consent: advertising identifiers, device storage, or personalized advertising where consent is required. Consent can be withdrawn without affecting earlier lawful processing.
• Legal obligations: responding to valid legal requests and retaining records when required by law.

Account registration is optional for guest play, but we need an email account for account features and purchases. Multiplayer cannot operate without processing session and gameplay information. We do not use game results to make decisions about you with legal or similarly significant effects.

04. Who receives information

• Other people in your room: your in-game name, avatar, presence, game results, statistics, and other information needed for the shared game. A room’s available upgrades may reflect the host’s entitlements. Your sign-in email, password, and purchase tokens are not shown to other players. Anyone who obtains a room code may be able to join, subject to room capacity and game rules, so share codes only with people you intend to play with.
• Supabase and its infrastructure providers: authentication, database storage, realtime multiplayer, and server functions process the account, session, game, and purchase-verification data needed to provide those features. See Supabase’s privacy policy.
• Google and advertising service providers: Google AdMob processes advertising and technical information to deliver and measure ads and prevent fraud. Advertising partners involved in an ad request may also receive the information needed for that request. See Google’s privacy policy and how Google uses information from apps and sites that use its services.
• Google Play: purchase tokens, product information, and purchase-related account references are processed to verify transactions and restore access. Google independently handles store transactions under its own terms and privacy policy.
• Hosting and email providers: infrastructure providers process website requests, service logs, verification emails, and support messages as needed to deliver those services. Support emails are received and answered through Resend.
• Legal and professional recipients: information may be disclosed where required by law or reasonably necessary to protect users, enforce our rights, investigate abuse, or obtain professional advice, subject to applicable law.

We do not sell account profiles or email addresses for money. Advertising-related disclosures may fall within legal definitions of “sharing” or “sale” in some jurisdictions, even without a payment for the data. Advertising choices and applicable privacy rights are described below.

05. Advertising and your choices

Drinkuu integrates Google AdMob interstitial ads. Advertising services can process information even if you play without registering an account. Ad personalization and identifier access depend on your location, device settings, permissions, consent, and the ad request configuration. Non-personalized or limited ads may still involve technical information for delivery, reporting, or fraud prevention.

You can use Android’s advertising privacy settings or iOS privacy and tracking settings to manage available advertising identifiers and permissions. You can also manage relevant choices through Google My Ad Center. These controls have different scopes and do not necessarily stop all ad-related processing. Where the app requests advertising consent or tracking permission, your choices govern the uses covered by that request.

The optional Remove ads upgrade suppresses covered ad placements. It does not delete your account or previously processed information, and it does not remove processing needed to provide multiplayer or verify purchases.

06. Local storage and the website

The app stores authentication sessions and preferences, such as audio levels, on your device. Advertising SDKs may also use device storage or identifiers as described above. Signing out removes the saved account session on that device; clearing app storage or uninstalling removes locally stored app information according to your operating system. These actions do not, by themselves, delete server-side records.

The Drinkuu website itself does not set analytics or advertising cookies, use tracking pixels, load third-party fonts, or embed advertising SDKs. Its images, styles, and scripts are served with the site. The hosting provider still processes network requests and may keep technical or security logs. Visiting the site does not create a Drinkuu game account. If you follow an external link or email us, the destination service’s privacy practices also apply.

07. Retention and deletion

We retain information according to its purpose, whether you continue to use the service, and any applicable legal or security requirements:

• Game data: rooms and their related game records are temporary. The backend includes cleanup for abandoned rooms. Choosing Play again clears previous match rounds and related results while keeping the current lobby and remaining players. Cleanup timing depends on room state and scheduled backend jobs; finishing or leaving a game does not necessarily erase every record immediately.
• Accounts and profiles: remain separate from room cleanup and are kept while your account exists, unless deleted following a verified request. Guest authentication records may also remain after the room is removed.
• Purchases: verification records and entitlements are kept to maintain and restore purchased access, prevent fraud, and meet any applicable legal obligations. Store providers keep their own transaction records independently.
• Technical logs, support messages, and backups: are retained for the period needed to investigate issues, secure the service, resolve requests or disputes, and meet legal obligations. Provider log and backup lifecycles may differ from deletion in the active database.

To request deletion of your account and associated personal information, email support@drinkuu.com from your registered address with the subject “Drinkuu account deletion”. You can also request deletion of specific data without closing the account. See the account and data deletion page for details, including guest requests.

We may ask for information reasonably needed to verify your request. When a deletion request is verified, we delete or de-identify associated personal information that is no longer needed, subject to lawful retention requirements. If information must be retained, we explain the reason and applicable period or criteria. Deleted information may remain in restricted backups until those backups expire. Account deletion can remove your saved profile and the account’s access to upgrades; it does not itself refund a store purchase. Signing out, deleting the app, and deleting your account are different actions.

08. Security and international processing

Connections to the app’s backend use HTTPS/TLS. Database access rules limit access to account profiles and purchase records, and raw Google Play purchase tokens are held in a private server-side table rather than exposed to other players. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

Our service providers may process information outside your country, including countries with different data-protection laws. The locations depend on the selected backend region and each provider’s infrastructure. Where required by applicable law, international transfers must use an appropriate legal mechanism, such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses. Contact us for information about the locations and safeguards relevant to your data.

09. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access a copy of your personal information; correct inaccurate information; request deletion; restrict processing; object to processing, including certain legitimate-interest or advertising uses; receive portable information; and withdraw consent. Some rights have legal limits or exceptions.

You can update your saved display name and favourite avatar in your profile. For other requests, including requests to opt out of advertising-related sharing where applicable, email support@drinkuu.com. We may verify your identity and will respond within the time required by applicable law. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority. We do not penalize you for exercising applicable privacy rights.

10. Adults only

Drinkuu is intended for adults aged 18 and over and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from people under 18. If you believe a person under 18 has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate steps to remove it. Alcohol is optional; anyone who chooses to drink must also meet the legal drinking age where they are.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the game, service providers, or privacy practices change. The current version will be available on this page with an updated date. Where required, we will give additional notice or ask for consent before applying a material change.
